On Games and Creation
I have always believed that games are more than a source of entertainment. To me, they are a way of reimagining reality.
The real world is constrained by time, resources, and physical limitations. For most people, life follows relatively fixed patterns, and over time, repetition can lead to a loss of novelty and excitement. This is why humans have always sought to create, through technology, art, and imagination, to expand beyond the boundaries of everyday experience.
Games, especially video games, have the unique ability to bring together multiple art forms, including visual design, music, storytelling, and interaction. Because of this, I see games as one of the most comprehensive and expressive creative mediums, with the potential to create entirely new worlds and experiences.
While many people dedicate their lives to achievements in science, technology, or social contribution, I am drawn to a different kind of creation, the act of building worlds. Through games, I want to give players access to places and experiences beyond reality: from ancient history to imagined futures, from grounded environments to interstellar spaces.
More importantly, I want to create emotional experiences. Games can allow players to feel excitement, curiosity, fear, frustration, wonder, and hope. They can create moments that stay with people long after they stop playing.
My goal is to create game worlds that are not only engaging, but meaningful, worlds that players can explore, experience, and remember.
My academic background is in Aircraft Maintenance Technology, but my passion has always been in game design. During my studies, I continued to develop games independently, starting from tabletop design and gradually moving into 3D game development.
To further strengthen my skills, I also joined Phil Art Studios to study art and visual design. This journey reflects my commitment to becoming a game creator and continuously expanding my abilities across disciplines.
